Client: Pharmacare Group Ltd
About the client:
Pharmacare ensures that heterogenous drugs (drugs with dangerous side-effects) are distributed as safely as possible to patients. These drugs are used to treat maladies such as blood cancer. Pharmacare provides the software to the NHS, pharmacies and hospitals, that ensures all the safety precautions are taken when distributing these drugs. They are growing quickly, having started in 2021, and in 2024 are dealing with over 400 prescriptions daily.
Project Summary:
Pharmacare deal with a significant amount of data and lengthy manual processes to perform a quarterly compliance check based on reconciling the amount of drugs supplied by various drug manufacturers from the warehouse, with the drugs distributed to patients at the pharmacy level.
Software Serenade are working with Pharmacare to turn the manual reconciliation process into an end-2-end automation which involves modernising their data management, creating robust standard operating procedures, and building out a full automation which allows them to scale to work with an exponentially growing supply.
Furthermore after building a data pipeline we are working on creating various visualisations and analytical reports of the data, to get more insights from the data, and make it more accessible. These compliance reports are required by the NHS and ensures the safe distribution of drugs.
