Objectives

In software development, frontend design refers to the process of creating the visual and interactive elements of a user interface, ensuring that it is both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly. Good design enhances user experience by making the software intuitive and engaging, which can lead to higher user satisfaction and retention. How it works

The purpose of this week is to begin creating a shared vision and visuals of what the end-product will look like.

Design week:

• 1 design workshop in which we
  • creatively explore product features with you through engaging design exercises
  • understand the key users, and create user stories
  • heat-map and prioritise the most relevant features
• Following the design workshop we
  • Create high-level wireframes, to visualise the flow from a user experience perspective. These black and white wireframes will be aligned with your business processes and encapsulate priority features identified earlier.
• We have a 1 hour follow up call to go through all of these items with you, at the end of the week.

Cost

The cost for this package is currently on offer at £1800 + VAT.

Optional add-ons

For customers looking for more in-depth designs, there is a lot more design work we can do to fully define the product and ensure it is of the highest quality standards. We would be happy to discuss the following additional design services. Normally we cannot fit all of this within the week, and require additional time to be scheduled for the below.

• User Interface designs:

  • UI designs will give you the real look and feel of your end product and will translate the high-level wireframes into in-depth, colour designs.

• User research surveys and interviews:

  • We will get into the user’s minds to understand what they are looking for and how they wish to interact with the product, to inform our designs.

• User testing:

  • We will create a prototype of the design and ask users to test out the product to get feedback on it. We will then refine the designs according to the user feedback.

• Branding and colours:

  This is appropriate for brand new businesses, that do not have branding guidelines, an agreed colour palette, or possibly even a logo. Or if this has not been done formally/properly as yet and you wish to invest in this.
